bettycoltrane85- You are right (now that I Youtube them) - I didn't get to follow those though - only because I live in Australia where gymnastics isn't really broadcast too often and also I was probably about 7 or 8 years old back then.

not since 2004. Kui Yuanyuan, Ji Liya, Mo Huilan in the mid 90's were all first-rate on floor.

how old are these chinese gymnasts? most do not look 15 that's for sure.

Beautiful routine... I love the expression and dance... the Chinese have really come a long way in the floor routines. It never used to even be close to a strength for them ... but since Cheng Fei in 2004, it seems expressive routines are coming out so much more in China. Jiang, Sui Lu... the Olympics is going to be a tough competition :)

the 9.8 she got was on BEAm b/c that routine was in fact perfect
on ub they gave her an 8 B score in the tf and in EF they gave her a 7 B score b/c of her mistakes cause they dont overscore
in the natl finals i think it was, they only took .4 off kexins routine and she like all other chinese has kipping problems. it wud have been a low 9 B score at worlds
they gave 2 guys 17s on sr when they got 16s at worlds and they only took .4 off jiangs vt and that was with a step. how is that possible

gymlover, nast did not get a 9.8 at SCAM cup, it was at pac rim and that routine was executed perfectly whereas kexin's wasnt
2. at pac rim, most of the bar routines got an 8 for the B score so thats not overscoring
3. they def overscored at chn nationals because they gave out sooo many 16s and 17s

executed perfectly?? except for the missed handstands, open legs on dismount, hideous pak, BIG step on landing, it's not because Tim and Elfi think she's perfect that she really is.
3 what kind of a statement is that they overscored because there were many high scores? Ever thought that there is such a big amount of capable gymnasts?? Is it that hard to admit China outscores US? They still train basics for years they work every day on the finishing touches. They have more than one 17. gymnast

maybe because a step only has 0.1 deduction? Then you have another 0.3 for leg separations. Pretty much the only deductions you could take. She made that amanar look easy as pie I haven't seen anyone perform that vault so lightly.
