Columbus Day Parade Protest 2007

This is a video from the 2007 Columbus Day Parade Protest in Denver, Colorado. The state of Colorado was the first state to declare Columbus Day a holiday, in 1907. Many feel that the celebration of Columbus is the celebration of Genocide and Slavery. Being at the protest was awful, blatant racism is clearly evident. Nearly 100 peaceful protestors were arrested and jailed for 20+ hours. A lawsuit is currently under way against the Denver Police Dept for police brutality.

Without sounding bias here white women are the most desireable so it's no wonder that they make up the largest % of rape victims. To prove my point u only have to look at mixed couples. The overwheling majority of them will be a white female with the male being of other race. There's logic to this tho. 1000's of years ago Europeans had to move around due to the climate and that's how they mixed & ended up with more desireable genetics. Black tribes didn't have to bother as their climate is hot.

ndileonardo Your the one who has been lied to and I feel sorry for your ignorance. My people never crossed a land bridge and you can't prove that they did. No one in scientific archeology can that is why it is a THEORY. It was genocide. There is a big difference in how your ancestors "discovered" this land. Mine have always been here.

Maybe Americans need to ask what do they have to fear by facing the truth?

I have nothing against anybody of any ethnicity. I have everything against people who ignorantly celebrate leaders whose very acts caused a genocide that Hitler only dreamed of.

Ignoring the ethnic group that was so brutally victimized. Ignoring their resistance of letting this honoring continue. It would be like asking 911 families to ignore a parade by the twin towers that was for Osama Bin Laden.

This is our homeland whose 9,000 plus years of family lived, died,& are buried in.
