Kral Ferch dunking

A Montana State shooting guard named Kral Ferch in the mid 1980s had some serious hops. The dunk that happens at :21 into the video is the one that is most famous. It happened in the first round of the NCAA West Regional in 1986 when #16 seeded Montana State played #1 St. John's in the first round. Shelton Jones is the St. John's defender who couldn't have anticipated this white boy could jump like that. Montana State led by two just before the half but were finally beaten 83-74. (I'm not related to Kral Ferch and I'm not Kral Ferch-just a guy who came across the video at archive.org and is a huge b-ball fan).

I played a couple of times with him over the last five years. he doesnt play as much but Shan plays everyday. Heck of a Volleyball player to.

He works for Microsoft now. I worked with him a few years back.. a really decent guy and wicked smart developer.

I went to Park Sr. High School with Kral and graduated with him--his senior year, by his father Tom, their team won the State A championship by 45 points (PHS scored 105 that game).
Kral had 5 dunks in the game and dominated--Shann, his brother followed in Kral's footsteps two years later by repeating the feat (less dunks, but more points scored).

I remember Kral Ferch. One helluva college player. One helluva competitor. And one helluva leaper for a white boy. But he never did anything in the pros as far as I know.

No, I think he went into the computer business or something like that. He has a brother who is a college professor.
