@nathankingmuppet Nice response,Your company must be a joy to work with!
If You read mt response correctly,,you might have taken it as almost a complement as I said the car looked far too original to be a new one.As for Your site here,it explains next to nothing and doesn't explain Your business at all. Try setting that up, and don't be a dick every time someone says something You don't agree with, it makes You sound like an ass to possible customers.
@Oldbmwr100rs oh really? Well it proves what a fool you really are. I am the owner and director of harrington group- why on earth would i lie about what we do? If you had researched, you would see that we produce many parts for classic cars, and we are probably the largest manufacturer of isetta parts. if you look on flickr, you will see our new steel bodies being made. So how about thinking % doing a little research before commenting? Else you really do come across as ignorant and dumb.Clown!
@nathankingmuppet I read what little text they have and really don't believe much of it. I don't think they could exactly copy an Isetta body and interior as well as the one in the pic, take a look,You have several could someone copy one so well? As for Your snotty comment, You can stick it.I've been involved and have worked with electric cars for the last 25 years and so far the only thing I've seen in the whole thing is people wasting time and what were once good cars by making a mess if them.
@Oldbmwr100rs read the text... its a completely new car! the only isetta parts on here are the horn, the steering wheel, the steering column, the indicators and the lights..........thanks for the worthless advice though. btw- i have 7 original iseetas all fully restored.
Shame to ruin an Isetta by cutting it up to be electric,it's actually a much better car with a rebuilt engine, and you can still get a lot of the parts. Now once the interest wears off,or the car ruined,it'll just be scrapped. You would be better off doing mechanical restoration and selling the car, then putting the money into converting a more modern and common car to electric.
It's NOT so easy getting a reply from your company though !!! I've sent several e-mails asking for details and explaining my interest in selling your products in Europe ......... but you've NEVER replied !
