Stuck With Eachother [[chapter 44 Babies, Birthdays, and Boys]]

Jessica POV
Its been a week since Kaylee was born. Shes fun to have around. Just waking up and knowing that there is a little baby to hold in the mornings is always amazing. The kids love her, and Joe loves her. Its so cute to see him holding her. it reminds me of when the twins were born.

Joe: Hey Kaylee. Im your dad. Yes I am. You are going to be so spoiled.

Brooklyn: Not fair.

Joe: Oh like I didnt spoil you.

Jessica: I think all three of you have it good.

Ayden: except that I dont have a little brother. I mean sure two little sisters are great, but we need another boy in this house to even it out.

Jessica: That wont be happening, at least not anytime soon.

Joe: Oh it wont?

He wiggled his eyebrows at me.

Ayden: Eww, gross dad.

I just laughed and took Kaylee so that I could go feed her. I went up to the nursery and sat on the chair and fed her the bottle. Joe came up and stood behind me and started massaging my shoulders.

Joe: Do you want more children? Like in the future?

Jessica: its a possibility.

Joe: So the twins birthday is coming up soon. What do we want to get them?

Jessica: Im not sure.

All of the sudden Brooklyn and Ayden walked in the room.

Brooklyn: Well, I was thinking along the lines of a car.

Joe: whoa whoa whoa, hold it. A car?

Ayden: were learning how to drive right?

Jessica: Ill leave that to your dad. I am not getting in the car with either of you. I have a hard enough time when your dad drives.

Joe: I resent that. I am an awesome driver.

Jessica: I know you are honey.

He looked away and I shook my head no. Brooklyn and Ayden laughed.

Joe: You guys want a car?

Ayden: Well, mom was thinking about possibly buying me one.

Jessica: That was if you stayed out of trouble and got straight As. You got straight detention and Cs.

Ayden: but mom.

Jessica: Im just sticking to what I told you.

Joe: What were you in detention for?

Jessica: Well, Just being the class clown. And it seems that coming to the states hasnt changed that at all. I got a call from their principal yesterday. He and Destiny were making out in the hall and they got detention.

Brooklyn: served them right. I cant stand watching my best friend and brother make out, its just wrong.

Ayden: oh and seeing you and Travis holding hands down the hallway doesnt make me sick?

Joe: Wait, you and Travis?

Brooklyn: Dad, I think its time that me and Travis are allowed to go on our own dates, without Ayden and Destiny. I mean he is my boyfriend after all.

Joe: What? And how come I didnt hear about this?

Brooklyn: well you guys were preparing for the baby. And mom knew.

Joe: Jessica, you didnt tell me?

Jessica: Because I didnt want to fight with you about it. Destiny is old enough to date, Joe, youre going to have to get over the fact that our little girl, isnt so little anymore. Whether you like it or not, Brooklyn is growing up. Joe, she deserves to live the normal teenager life. I mean shes at the age that I started dating One of my boyfriends.

Joe: which one?

Jessica: I dont exactly remember.

Joe: was it jason?

Jessica: eww, hell no. But mine and Brooklyns point is that Brooklyn, is dating.

Joe: But-

Jessica: You have another daughter that you can worry about later on Joe. So just give it a rest. Brooklyn isnt 5 anymore. Shes going to be 16 in a couple of weeks.

Joe looked at us and sighed.

Joe: Fine.

Brooklyn: Yay! Daddy I love you!

She ran over to him and gave him a hug. He smiled as he held onto her. Ayden smiled behind them. I love my family.
