Suzhou-China Photo Video

Suzhou is a historical and cultural heritage as well as for its natural beauty. In 1981, this ancient city was listed by the State Council as one of the four cities (the other three being Beijing, Hangzhou and Guilin) where the protection of historical and cultural heritage as well as natural scenery should be treated as a prior project. This city comprises of four districts (Pingjiang, Taichang, Jinchang, Canglang and the suburbs) and six satellite cities (Changshou, Zhangjiagang, Taichang, Kunshan, Wuxian and Wujiang), which covers a total area of 8,488 square kilometers with a population of about 5.8 million (1.1 million in the city proper).
