I'm sorry for him, too but I think that a symphonic metal componist like Tuomas Holopainen should have enough great events to get away from his tireness, depressions and the drinking. Maybe he should have a break.

Weird they don't like opera. Well I do but the vocals are rather extreme to get used to. Once you do there is an odd charm to them.
