There are 3 levels, (12, 13 & 18) where you have to seriously conserve how many dots you're eating, while grouping, or Blinky will speed up... If that happens, it's rather hopeless.
@vwnclubb: I think I may have taken a different approach to this than most. I have TOTALLY different methods for grouping on the slow levels, vs the non slow levels. The main reason why this is the case, is because I would very much LOVE to be able to use my slow level methods for grouping (which I learned with mame, by ONLY playing the slow levels). However, it's not possible to use my preferred method of slow level grouping on boards 10-13 (junior levels) because too many dots are eaten.
@VelvetRolo i termed my first question incorrectly. i mean when it comes to grouping, is that something that is learned without trying on boards 1-16 and 18 after you have mastered the slow boards of 21 and onwards? or did you find that you really had to concert a conscience effort to learn how to group the ghost in boards 1-16, regardless of whether you knew how to complete the slow boards of 21+ or not.
2 ghost lengths.... Doesn't always work exactly perfectly... But, now I have methods to deal with the imperfections, without bothering to regroup them again...
@vwnclubb: I'm not really sure what you're talking about in terms of grouping on slow levels!!!!! Because, most of my videos are sort of shit in that regard. I have played with it a lot since most of these videos... I can now get the ghosts almost ideally grouped BEFORE the 2nd reversal, on both of the chase and junior mazes.... Maybe 95% of the time, I get the ghosts grouped, and in a position so that when they reverse, they don't scatter, and Blinky is behind Pinky and Inky by about
the message i sent you was in reference to this video. also, as far as the art of grouping goes, is that something that comes naturally and without thinking as you learn how to get through the slow boards of 21 and upwards, or do you think you have to really make a conscience effort in order to learn how to group the ghosts like that regardless of how many slow boards you come to master?
