  • I'm just wondering, can I use Tabata on the bicycle? Please reply soon! From Adam. :)

  • @AdamPurskiMusic Hey Adam, If you are talking about the stationary bike in the gym, then for sure. What I would suggest, depeding on the bike, is pedal as fast as you can (keep the RPM above 100) for the 20 interval at a challenging level, then drop the level to 1 and cycle at an RPM greater than 80 for 10 and then repeat. This may be a bit difficult as some bikes take time to change levels in regards to tension. Check out my BEST CARDIO WORKOUT FOR FAT LOSS video Funk Roberts

  • "got my GYMBOSS, cause when im working out i like to use my GYMBOSS to time my sets, GYMBOSS is really usefull" hahaha advertising much

  • @delaforce202 hahahaha - That was 3 years ago and I still use my Gymboss Timer - Used while I train my MMA athletes, use for all my Spartacus Workouts, used while I trained for my Muay Thai fight in Thailand and I used it yesterday while videoing the Heavy Bag Workouts (videos coming soon) - Take my advice, when you believe in a product, there is no shame in advertising it, marketing it and sharing it with the world - Much Love - BTW - Did you order your Gymboss Timer yet? - Funk

  • I wonder if you could help, i've got a ton of different workouts to do, and im starting your spartacus 4 week workout 2moro, but when would i do this? As i said i've got loads of workouts but i dont know when to do them, your spartacus workout, it will take 40 minutes right, so is that all i do for the day? Or is it really up to me and my fitness level?

  • @motley0crue12 - Hey Motley - The Spartacus Workouts are all you will need trust me...If you get through all 3 rounds, I'll be very surprised...Good Luck and let me know how you do - Funk

  • @WaterPoloJames91 they don't understand that over time it's a real joint destroyer. no goals of lifelong fitness... just thinking about the here & now.

  • @dosgib73 C'mon. Give him credit because a few of them were at least a FULL 3/4 pushups

  • @AdamPurskiMusic

Yes you can. Anything you can do at maximum speed that get's your heart rate up is acceptable for tabata.

  • To answer the question above. You can do Tabata protocol w/ any exercise or pieces of equipment.

In responce to the comment below. It's not "unrealiatic" to do or work toward doing 250 push-ups in 4 mns. if that's your goal. The person who can do 250 push-ups in 4 mns. will be much fitter then someone who jogs or does some aerobic machine at seady state for 30 mns. or more.

  • I dif pushups, situps and squats... Tge bext day i couldnt even walk n that was for 3 Days!!!

    But good workout ;)

  • @dosgib73 what an eel, they are proper push-ups. Don't understand why people think you seem to have to go all the way down and all the way up and til full extension when you won't even gain the full effect of a push-up. You can damage your elbows for one, aslong as you're not literally doing "half push-ups" which he clearly wasn't then they are acceptable enough.

  • @ElephantRage a friend of mine did 97 push ups in around 1min 42sec and so he'd probably be able to do close to 200 in 4 mins and plus he's 12!
