The 2009 BET Awards was a major FAIL. The MJ tribute was so horrible I don't even remember it. All I remember was Lil Wayne rapping about "fucking every woman in the world" while what looked like elementary school girls danced on stage around him. ugh..disgrace.

I once read a book that discussed the horrible television value of BET, they suggested that the network just change its slogan to:

"BET:These niggers are watching anyway.."

no one ever blamed BET for problems in the community. but as a television station that is supposed to be for black people and a small representation of them, they sure as HELL aren't making the situation any better.
