Inspirational sonic collage of dance, music, photography and DJ
Listen in as Cool Cleveland Correspondent Carol Drummond stopped by Tri-C's Metro Campus recording studio to find out more about Daniel Bernard Roumain's collaboration with local musicians, the creation of their online songbook, his groundbreaking performance taking place in Cleveland this weekend, and much more.
Tri-C and DBR (Daniel Bernard Roumain) have embarked on an epic musical journey called Project Gilgamesh. This downloadable songbook which is being created by the NEO's rich musical community is being designed to be used and augmented by anyone with whom it resonates.
DBR is an innovative composer, performer, violinist and band leader who mixes his classical musical roots with his own cultural references creating a symphony of performances, musical pieces and collaborative experiences. Find out more about DBR at http://www.dbrmusic.com.
You can take advantage of this rare opportunity to witness a most innovative performance which defies classification and takes place Fri 10/21 and Sat 10/22 2011 at Tri-C's Metro Campus Mainstage Theater, 2900 Community College Avenue, Cleveland.
