SOAW - confession

He stood hidden in the shadows watching them.

His feet bringing him unbidden to where she is even if the truth of the matter is he just wanted to run away.

"Do you like that man?"

He heard him say.

That guy in the glasses whom he barely know but whom he wanted to punch anyway.

He felt his breath hitch.

His heart stopping for a second as he waited with bated breath for what she would say.



"I wish I didn't like him, but I can't help it. I like him so much."

He almost doubled over from the extent of his emotions just from hearing her say the words.

He had known it all along but now he is sure.

It was in that moment, that one single unexpected moment when he knew...

He could not anymore run away because his life is not complete without HER.
