  • there is a book called the green pharmacy that might help with nausea and other issues with cancer. here is a online version of it

  • @spiritualinsight i'd like to look into it, but I don't see the link of that book if you left one.

  • Stay strong my friend. I will keep you in my prayers.

  • @Darkartwarlock thank you very much. I am humbled by all the kind comments and emails I've gotten.

  • Jason, how long were you in the hospital after they did the actual transplant? I'm going to get my SCT in Chicago. Just waiting on the ins right now. Once they say yes I will be scheduled two weeks out. I'm ready to get it done and over with. Also, what chemo drugs did they use on you?

  • @treappling1 I wish you the best of luck with your transplant. You'll do fine, and I know what you mean about wanting to get it over with. I feel the same way, except now I have a second transplant to do! But for my auto SCT, the main drug was melphalan (not sure if I spelled that right). It's pretty toxic and I'm just now getting over the side effects, but it's worth it. Good luck.

  • hang in there man, i just got out of the hospital friday, jan 21 2011 from an allogeneic transplant, the donor being my brother (a perfect match), from mdAnderson, finagrin was the best nausea med for me. my bro brought me chinese food one day and i had to keep the fortunes from the cookies which read "even the toughest of days have bright spots, just do your best", and "commitment is what turns a promise into reality". do what it takes

  • the full title for the book is called

"The Green Pharmacy: New Discoveries in Herbal Remedies for Common Diseases and Conditions from the World's Foremost Authority on Healing Herbs" by James A. Duke PhD

  • @carpyeditor sorry i had to sent it with the email system because of the link.

for those that can't see the link go to Google and look up "mothernature - online bookshelf"

and go to the book titled "The Green Pharmacy Herbal Handbook"

  • Keep strong, your doing great. best of luck :)
