Camping at Silverwood Lake, California

Our friends Rocky and Mark invited us to join them at Silverwood Lake (close to El Cajon Pass in the San Bernardino National Forest. We were there with David, Vanessa, Ali and Justin and their puppies. The place is really beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves.

no it isnt free
i believe its $10 for a night per vehicle
joshua tree is also a nice place to camp if you're still interested
it's 15 per vehicle, valid for a week
honestly there isnt that many places to camp out here with a nice scenery, if you don't mind sand/dirt, go to stoddard valley.
I dirtbike alot.. my favorite place is silverwood, but I get off on cleghorn on the 15fwy and ride the hills till I hit silverwood... so i don't pay anything :)

Is camping there free? If not, can someone tell me where I can camp in Southern Cali for free?

i was just their yesterday some rules have changed if your going to take a boat be their extremly early to get it inspected for barnicles and algea and stuff cuz the lake got contaminated and theiur trying to get it clean so the water is a green but their cleaning up the infection and when it done the water will be beutiful like it was last year

camp fires are alowed and its a really nice place and u can go fishing and when u are swinmming there are big cats fish and gold fish HAVE FUN

you can ether go to the campgrounds and reserve a spot or the best way is to call and reserve a spot
