for all those begginers who want to know how to finish off the fly you will first need to purchase a tool called the "Whip

start out with nymphs and streamers...they are easy i didnt like tying drys at first cause they looking like poo then i got discouraged and almost didnt want to tie..if you do want to start out with drys do mabe grifiths gnats cause they are easy

Go to your local flyshop or Bass Pro Shops and see if they're doing a fly tying class. Most places do them for free, hoping that you'll get hooked and buy your materials there.

Learn a simple fly like a wooly bugger and practice it until they look like you could sell it in a shop. Then start expanding and practicing. It's not nearly as difficult as most people assume, the hardest part for me was learning how much pressure to apply on the thread without breaking it.
