I don't know why Hook got negative reviews? Some people consider it one of Steven Speilberg's worst movies.
I thought it was a great movie and clearly one of Steven Speilberg's best movies. It has everything you would want in a Speilberg film. It had a great story, cast, music, action sequences, and a great climax.

i've always loved the film hook since i first saw it on tv. the whole thing about it whisked me away. the imagination of neverland to when he remembers how to fly. whenever i go to dvd stores or book stores and i see "peter pan" titles, i always think of "Williams and Hoffman.....Hook!".
