That is exactly what I was thinking as I watched them and their debacle of their story. They didn't say a darn thing as to how or why they can hurt you. Only that they don't know what's in it. Shesh, at least have a creditable reason, if nothing else.

And the FEAR MONGERING continues! The FDA is trying to scare people into avoiding this product till they can come up with a way to regulate / tax it! I have been "vaping" for the past 2 years with NO side effects! I quit smoking real cigs within 2 days of starting e-cigs with vast improvements to my health! My doc was shocked & very pleased with the improvements. It's quite interesting that the FDA approves real cigs but wants to ban this safer alternative.

The REAL reason that people may support a law to make such a simple device illegal is simple... no more profit for the major tobacco tycoons.

The tobacco industry leaders are shoving millions at anyone who can change the minds of the general public about the benefits of the e-cig.

"We don't know what's in them" may have been true at one time, but it isn't true now. If you purchase US-made liquids from reputable vendors, you know what you're getting.

how many times has the FDA said that certain drugs were safe and in just a few years we learned they werent. the fda should stick to worrying about drugs and leave e cigs alone.

to say they don't know whats in them is ridiculous!!!....before they put the story out they could get there shit together..nic levels all over the board..stupid...so is the nic level of a cigar the same as a cigarette..a light cig or ultra light the same as a full-flavor? I just love how the news omits any good info, and promotes the propaganda which is BS

To the news media... I say stop forcing your FDA bullshit down everyone's throat. It is an American's right whether or not they want to smoke or vape. I have been a vaper for well over 4 months and have not touched a cig since the day I started vaping. Give me PROOF not allegations that e-cigs aren't a safer alternative. My lungs tell me it is, sorry big pharma and tobacco's wallets are smaller because of a choice I WILL NOT give up. DON'T SMOKE VAPE... hard!
