Khalil's PoV
"Yo, where are they, seriously?" Twist complained. By "they" he meant my best friend Reign and her girls. We were supposed to be having some "meet and greet" type sh*t so we can all become closer, but I didn't really care. Hell, we were in Vegas, there were a lot of bad b*tches I could meet. "Right? Sh*t, why girls always gotta be late with everything? We could be hittin' up the--""Look here they come now." Diggy said pointing towards them walking through the lobby, big suitcases, heels clicking and all. "Hey ya'll, we're here!" Reign said as she approached us. "Well, it's about damn time!" I said while hugging her. "Hush your mouth, boy!" she said slapping my chest. "So, you gonna introduce us or what?" Justin asked eyeing down a cute brunette. "Boy, keep it in your pants." Reign said rolling her eyes. "Now, this is Alexis, Sage, Jacque, Liana, and Daniele...and of course I'm Reign." She said pointing to each girl as she said their name. The last one is the one who really caught my attention, Daniele. Had to admit, lil' mama was bad. I watched as they all exchanged "hellos" and shook each other's hands, while Reign introduced the guys one by one, Daniele smiling each time, showing off her dimples.
"...and of course, this fat head over here is Mr. Khalil Sharieff." Reign ended, while resting her arm on my shoulder. All the girls except Daniele smiled and said "hi" while Daniele stood there, glaring at me. "So this is the infamous Khalil?" she asked pointing towards me with a raised eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean?", I challenged her. "Nothing, I've just...heard so much about you." I nodded unsure if that was all she had to say but from the looks of it she was done. "Well, I'm gonna go get the room keys." Reign sang loudly. "Yeah, me too." Diggy said walking away with her to the front desk.
While the rest of the guys and girls were talking, me and Daniele were the only ones alone so I decided to talk to her. She was standing there looking at her phone. "What's up, shawty?" I said smoothly while standing next to her and flashing a smiled and wink. When she looked up at me she rolled her eyes. "Uhm, first thing's first, my name's not "shawty", it's Daniele." "OH, feisty." I said teasingly. "Lemme guess, you like feisty?" she scoffed. "How'd you know, sweetheart?" "Look, let's get things straight," she said pointing a finger in my face. "I'm not, I repeat not like all these other hoes you got clinging to your arm, dying for you to bring them home. Reign's told me all about you and to be honest, I don't really like you. So this front you got going on that you're a "sweet guy" and sh*t, you can stop. Because I know you're a player. And I know you're a hard drinker and partier and believe it or not I am too. You're cute and all, but that doesn't mean I'ma let you in my pants. Mkay? Kay." "Hey, I got the room keys." Reign said handing out each of the five girls, one. I just stared at Daniele and she scowled back at me. I guess Aaron caught this because out of nowhere he said, "Damn, the tension here is so thick you could cut it with a knife." Everybody laughed except me and Daniele who were still having a stare down.
"Ok, you two lovebirds can stare at each other later." Alexis said grabbing Daniele by the wrist and pulling her along. "Later, shawty." I said smirking as she walked past me with her suitcase in tow. She sucked her teeth then hurried along with the rest of the girls to the elevator. Damn, that ass on her. To tell you the truth, Daniele was beautiful, not like the rest of the girls I've slept with, who were only beautiful when I had some liquor in me. She was right, I kinda did want to sleep with her, but I liked her personality. She was straight-forward and I could tell she didn't like to beat around the bush. I was already on her bad side but I wanted to get to know her better, maybe if she saw the real me, not the one Reign explained, then maybe just maybe, things could happen between us.
