  • so funny when the lady said this is your family Mr. Campbell this is you family, well not that we want to be related to you >.< hahahaha

  • After watching this short video, do you want to help

the good people of Princeton? If so, I urge you to

take 30 seconds & use David Suzuki's online form

to send a message to Ottawa.

  • Wow, no one gives credit where credit is due. If this government wanted power plants to go up, they'd put them up. Period. When has protest ever stopped this government. So if the plants won't pollute or aren't going up, you only have government to thank. Yet I don't see anyone thanking them for the most pro-environmental Throne Speech in the history of Canada. Guess it's easier to complain.

  • so has this project been stopped im a little confused by the comments

  • Well done! I love this method of getting the word out as I am a little overwhelmed with text.

  • Fantastic! great way to spread the word! take that Gordon Campbell!!!

  • Yes, it means no greenhouse gas emissions, but it doesn't limit sulphuric acid, mercury or any other nasty things. It's a dollar short and a day late

  • The BC Gov just announced the most awesome climate change plan I've heard of. It talks about coal-fired power plants...says that "Effective immediately, British Columbia will become the first jurisdiction in North America, if not the world, to require 100 percent carbon sequestration for any coal-fired project. This means no greenhouse gas emissions will be permitted for coal-fired electricity projects anywhere in British Columbia." Very cool!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the citizens of Princeton and the Similkameen Valley who helped to stop this project! You should be very proud of your accomplishment.Thank you for saving our beautiful valley.I will be proud to tell your story to future generations.I am forever grateful!

  • Thank you Friends of the Similkameen for looking out for our interests and watching out for clean air! Limlimpt.
