The O'Reilly Factor: Is America in Decline?

Bill-O's Talking Points Memo from July 7, 2008 where he tries to say the the media is exagerating how bad things are in order to get Obama elected, and that America is not in decline, but if it were, of course it would all be the liberals fault, or something like that. I don't think Bill can even follow his own twisted logic himself.

This is weird. Because he basically listed all these problems and says "we don't have any of this fixed right now, but will soon enough". It's not as if he is entirely wrong, except for the "not in decline" part, in my opinion. I don't see why everybody is particularly angry with him on this one. Ok, granted, his views on education are a bit off. But atleast he acknowledges that we have a problem in our education system. I didn't think BillO did too bad here.

and the fact the the American dollar is worth about 4 cents and the fact that sovereignty is about to be obliterated with the unionization of Canada USA and Mexico and the this guy is the opposite of what the truth is "AND THE WICKED SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH"

the NCLBA act is a joke, it's not "liberal" policies that are damaging our education policies. look at all the European countries: Belgium, Iceland, Norway, Etc. They have way higher education ratings with their "liberal" policies. Hell, even Cuba can do better, they have most 8th graders taking calculus

Bill O´reilly´s bottom line: I´ll say anything and link together any bunch of lies to keep Obama out of the White House, America doesn´t need change, everything is fine and we just need to fix the schools. He didn´t bother to go into detail about what exactly is wrong with those schools.

You want to improve education? Then pay teachers more. How do you do that? Through "liberal" policies that increase taxes for the rich. Teacher's salaries in America are a joke, I'm putting away twice as much in the bank teaching in South Korea and I'm sure most teachers with talent are not looking to work in America's public schools.
