• C.A.N ASIA TOUR 2011 • THANK YOU SONY •

After In the middle of shooting the COMPLETION FILM for the BOOSA PROJECT my camera retired from providing its service and the Repair-Centre in Colombo could not fix it, I put an SOS out to Sony Europe for help.

Only a day later SONY came to the rescue in support of C.A.N.
They are providing a great HD camera so we can continue our C.A.N ASIA TOUR and our work to support changemakers by producing films about and for them and their projects.
However, the new camera had quite a journey before it reached its destination in Sri Lanka - mostly because in got stuck FROZEN EUROPE - as it was called in the news here in Asia - and because of the Sri Lankan Customs...
But now it is here and serving the C.A.N TOUR 2011 and we're very impressed with its performance. It's a SONY HDRXR550VEB - and I love it.
A big THANK YOU to all the people at SONY who were involved in making this happen!!!
