Almut Schüz, Prof. Dr.
Research Scientist
My research area is the structure of the brain, with the aim to connect brain structures to brain functions (e.g. learning, thinking, orientation selectivity). The focus of my research is on the cerebral cortex; comparison with other parts of the brain plays, however, an important role in this. Mainly histological methods are used, in particular quantitative neuroanatomical methods.
