  • Not quite sure the Manics went on to do Guns 'N' Rose meets THE FALL though, maybe the Clash.

  • @yahoosmoofoo2 They admited a lot later that they were just saying that, they might have hated post My Bloody Valentine shoegaze like Charterhouse and Slowdive but the stuff that came before like the C86 stuff and MBV they loved, particularly McCarthy and Primal Scream which were the precurser to Shoegaze and dreampop, you can definately hear the influence on this recording and a few other demos from this time.

  • Funny how they always say they hate shoegazers and this actually is closer to Ride than the Guns 'N' Roses meets The Fall thing a while later. Still great though (Not that Ride are sheeit).
