This was one of my favorite characters that Meryl ever played, Helen Archer.

Yeh Moon was a British scifi with Mr Rockwell and Take Shelter was an American indie film with Michael Shannon. Both are exceptional pieces of cinematic art. The good stuff is still being made, just not in hollywood any more.

When they were filming, you should have run off of your back porch in a pair of overalls shaking your fist at the camera crew and shouting, "YOU DANG OL' CITY SLICKERS TAKE THEM INFERNAL CONTRAPTIONS OUTTA MAH BACK YARD!!!"

I've been wanting to see Take Shelter! Was The Moon that one with Sam Rockwell?

lol I agree dude, it was just funny that guy implying 87 was somehow at the pinnacle of cinematic art. There have been some really good films in the past couple of years though, but more on the indie circuit. Take Shelter/The Moon two I've seen this past week. Mainstream I'll concede has been a bit lousy as of late. :p
