Hello JohnJava, I'm having a real hard time with the java at the moment while others are racing ahead of me in comprehension and actually doing it. It must be me. Maybe my brain is not wired up for this crap!! My problem I guess. Just had to vent my frustration somehow. I figure if I confess it here its as good as talking to no one.

you have defined the methods in the "public static ..." and in this little section of code we are just telling the program in which order to execute them...right?
