  • Hey people, I believe in free speech, but let's keep things

a bit more civil. Cockroach is putting the bait out and people

are running with it. Just ignore the taunts and try not to let

things get to a personal level.

    Thanks for your understanding.

  • That cockroach doesn't even own a scrap yard. Forget the liar 8 year old, people.

  • @Preacherman1882 - At best, most steam locomotives were only about 8% thermally efficient - the figure is closer to 20% for diesel. And wood does not burn as hot as good quality steaming anthracite coal, meaning you would have to cart around twice or more as much wood to do the same job as a bunker of coal, or that little bitty fuel tank between the bogies of your diesel electric. Steam loco horsepower is calculated differently from diesels and electrics, as well.

  • @gp40mc He told me it was written off due to a massive boiler explosion.=P

  • Cor blymie! That roach is a bit of all day.

  • The same model as the one in Thailand ........ very nice steam engine.

  • There are more fools than the world can support now..... let this one pass without comment !

  • @isitelectric I never asked you to care! I don't care what it has become to you!

Junk all the remaining steam locomotives! Cut them apart, melt them down & pour them into the molds for new shiny products. May those parts be transportation products like trucks, cars, buses or railroad locomotives or cars.

Junk all the remaining steam locomotives!

  • @Cockroach2008 Wow, you're STILL at it? Well it's gotten REAL old to me, so I don't give a shit about your replies any more.

  • @paullubliner Good luck as a new CEO of McDonalds. It seems to fit you!

I will continue scrapping steel, iron & other metals. I enjoy it immensely! Steam locomotives make great scrap metal value!

Junk all the remaining steam locomotives! It is fun to see the rivulets of molten iron run from a deep cut in the axles as the steam locomotives are given the final coup de gras!

More fun to watch larger parts sink over 45 minutes under a pool of molten metal in a crucible in an induction furnace!
