the whole lets feed shogun to lidell theory is bullshit (no offense, I always watch your predictions i think their prety good, so i''m not sayin this just to pick a fight). Dana knows chuck is done, lidell knows he is done, I mean dana has to be a complet idiot to ignore the potential that shogun still has. Lidell wanted another fight, he said he would prepare better for this one, he probably did, and it was just a confirmation of the fact that he cant hang with the top dogs at 205.

Thanks for the comment. Hey, that's your opinion, so it's cool. I just feel that Dana wanted to use Shogun's name to catapult Chuck into title contention one last time.  At the same time, he believed that if Chuck lost badly, he was done for good. I'm not saying it isn't smart, because it is. Chuck is one of, if not the biggest PPV draw still, I just don't like the idea of putting over a fighter past his prime against an younger, better fighter.

Yeah, having A (singular) beer bottle in my room, is really affecting my ability to predict fights. People who drink beer and leave the bottle out for a couple hours are the scum of the earth.

I think it was a good matchup in the end even tough i agree with the last part about older fighters vs younger ones. But if you think about it if i were dana white and would have been routing (donno if that's correct) with shogun. Even tough lidell is his budy and all he's got a lot more to gain from shogun getting back to his top level than chuck having another go at the title. (which we all know wouldn't have worked - rampage machida evans th silva griffin - they all beat chuck roght now)

thanks hk....yeah, it's not gonna be a leisurely walk in the park for Anderson. I like Leites, he's fairly young and is amazing on the ground. I'd like to see him improve his wrestling and stand up a lot more though.
