Of course its hypocritical, but I'm not criticizing the commercial directing industry.

You said "you don't encourage a person to lose weight by ridiculing and harassing and bullying". I disagree, for some people its very effective. For others the more positive encouraging way works better. Why should we limit it to only one method when people are diverse and respond to different things?

I used to be obese too, so I know what I'm talking about too. There are no universal solutions

Anyways, I understand morbid obesity presents a health risk BUT you don't encourage a person to lose weight by ridiculing and harassing and bullying.

You encourage them to lose weight with positive motivation and encouragement.
