You may know me as a very happy guy, but 25 years ago to the day I received a call that changed my life

  • That's very sad, Mark.

Did you get into pipe smoking because of your dad? My grandfather used to smoke pipes, but passed away while I was still very young. I was always very interested in his pipes, so my grandmother promised to give me one once I turned 18. That's what actually got me into pipe-smoking, although I'm yet to dare smoke his pipe. I'm afraid I'd ruin it.

  • @VerboseVindication Growing up with it I am sure had an influence. Thanks for your kind words

  • @pipefriendchs that's awesome! Btw i've seen a few videos in which you had on an sc hat. I'm in columbia, are you anywhere near there? I' like to get into pipe smoking, but I don't know any pipe shops around here.

  • @benjiak95 Charleston, there is a pipe/tobacco store at Harbison in Cola

  • Very good story Marc, I would love for you to create more videos like this one, I have to say this is the best video I have ever seen (Or at least the one i enjoyed most) plus it was 4minutes which is nice =)

  • i just started smoking a pipe and i love it i only have a £15.00 pipe at the moment and i have only tried St Bruno and condor i so want to try some better ones in a better pipe but one step at a time i guess love your vids i have learnt a lot from you thank you keep up the good work .. Paul from London UK

  • You have my condolences.

  • thank you for sharing this, Mark!!!

  • Well, you sure turned out OK. 17 is too young an age to lose a parent, but it's tough at any age. My dad died 6 years ago, and I miss him. I can imagine how much worse it would have been if he had died when I needed him the most. Anyway, you're too big for a footballer! :)) Stay well, Mark.

  • @PipeFriendCHS Which is why I didn't realize you were Dutch till you said so.

  • Great video brother. I thank you for this.

  • if ur rich isnt that all u need to be succesfull in life

  • I am very sorry for your loss PipeFriend. My Father died last December 18th. While I was in the dam sky! Got a SatCom Call. Wasn't a good time to inform me but I stayed on my game and kept it safe for my Passengers and crew. I am blessed.
