On the day they discontinued Kodachrome, a wonderful girl fell asleep on my shoulder in the back seat while listening to this song after a summer day of whitewater rafting.

Still reminds me of her every time I hear the song. Bittersweet.

You are so very right. I feel the same way when listening to this song as it brings back so many memories that I had with my dad as well. I have all the Kodak Super 8 cartridges and I do get emotional when watching them...

I guess you could say this is a tribute to the Kodak Company in Rochester, NY and if you listen to the lyrics, you can understand my feelings of this product bringing back so many wonderful memories.

Reading about the Kodak Bankruptcy was like seeing the end os an era. I never had much of a relationship with my father, but he captured my life on kodak film and that was our bond. I've had the opportunity to watch my childhood though his eyes via film There will never be another Kodak or another Kodachrome

I grew up in a Kodak family in Rochester, NY. Today –the day of the bankruptcy filing—is so incredibly sad. I’m playing this song for that city—a great place to live, due in large part to George Eastman. I hope the world never forgets Kodachrome or Kodak!
