On Sept 11, 2001, Roland Orzabal released Tomcats Screaming Outside. Because of other conspiring events, the album was never fully appreciated.
Look for Roland and Curt Smith to unite again this summer for a tour of the West coast! Everybody Loves a Happy Ending.

  • I guess everybody was really surprise to find this gem of an interview, especially when you think there is nothing elseout there to see with this outstanding musician. Not to mention he is one of the most interesting men on earth. Fantastic! It made my weekend... thank you so much. And yes another RO cd that got under the radar. What a shame!!!!

  • What a totally stupid and bad idea. Probably the worse video concept of all time. They did better ads.

  • Roland if you read this, consider the option to re-launch "Tomcats", please.

  • Who is the blond lady walking with Roland from 0:38 - 0:42?

  • the thing is I bought that album back in 2001 and still I say it is fantastic. I really liked that he dared to compose music using those vibrant elektro loops. For me that proves a good theme stands its place as any genre of music. "Kill love" was for a d'n'b groove in 2001 by the time it was just born. Well, TSO was released 10(!) years ago and it would be fantastic to see a new collection of progressive songs from Mr Orzabal.

  • thanks! very nice to see something about tomcats.

  • An extraordinary album, thanks for posting this cool interview!

What a relief to know that Roland was just as baffled as everyone else by the video ;)

  • the song is way too good for this directors lame vision..... ROLAND RULES

  • I think I understand the dog idea better now, rather intriguing actually. Different at least from the usual thing!

  • video looks goofy but love hearing Roland speak. His hair is amazing and lips look so kissable...

  • hahaomg: 'people who hate TFF would appreciate it' haha pretty darn good then lol
