Olusegun Obasanjp, the former president of Nigeria, joins Sir David to discuss the current crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the indictment of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
"Obasanjo's regime brought pains and anguish to the Odua people. We were not surprised because Obasanjo was not the true representative of the Odua nation he was imposed on us, he never won even his ward in the elections, he never believed in the mainstream of Odua political and libertarian tradition."

@blamaco good man??? by what standards? you must be from a wealthy background because you talk like you don't know the suffering that many nigerians went through under his administration
Olusegun OBasanjo is a much abused and maligned leader, it hurts me deeply, because its been done by people completely blanketed in prejudice, ignorance and sheer naked bigotry. There are some so shallow that they cant get past his "looks" or his "accent". How sad? President Obasanjo remains revered in the International arena. But alas, a good man is never honoured in his own yard.....nothing change....nothing strange!
"Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has appealed to the United Nations (UN), to arrest and prosecute former president Olusegun Obasanjo, accusing him of genocide. MASSOB described Obasanjo's acts to its members during his eight years administration as war of genocide." ----------- This Day Newspapers. Wednesday August 19, 2008.
Remember you also politicised the activities of EFCC just like the ICC is also beingused to pursue political goal,no wonder you were able to recognise that in the affairs of the ICC without mincing your words.
"Lagos - The United States has scored the Obasanjo administration low, accusing it of serious human rights abuses, massive corruption and poor management of the nation's economy in the past year." --- Vanguard Newspapers. Friday March 10, 2006.
