  • Exciting game--the best kibbitzed to date--and the usual boffo color from Jerry. White wasted too much time early and missed the Kt fork. Done.

  • @kaewonf8 Thanks K. :)

  • you meant to say, 'These are the games played on ChessCube where 'I Do' kibitzing.

  • @DanielManahan Thanks for the heads up. :)

  • As a beginner, I went to 1603 (15m games) in 12 months.

    - knight (f6) takes pawn (e4)

    - bishop (h4) takes bishop (e7)

    - knight (e4) takes queen (d2)

    - bishop(e7) takes queen (d8)

    - knight (d2) takes knight (f3) WITH CHECK!

  • at 9:30 why not Ng5 instead of Qd2?

  • "I don't wanna play.."

    "Nah, I still don't wanna play.." :D

  • hmmm at 4:16 black could have pushed the c pawn and have a discovered attack on the Rook as well as the bishop.

  • @DrGenius73 Yes. Actually, Jerry is 2300-sth FIDE and 2600-sth CC. Regarding FM's, IM's etc, they tend to get overestimated in CC because they are many weak players, which start an account with 1500 Elo and then giving their points away. I was talking about the 200-250 correlation of everyone in the 1400-2000 FIDE range, in almost all cases they don't have more than 300- CC inflation

  • @Neueregel You know Jerry a.k.a Chess_Network @ CC? He is a national master (so I would assume a 22-something rating). His CC rating is 28-something. Or what about FM Aman Hambleton: FIDE 2223, CC 3109.

  • @DrGenius73 I'm 2080 in CC, and I've played hundreds (if not thousands) of 2100+ guys, but none of them seemed to have less than 1650-1700 FIDE at least.

  • @DrGenius73 Maybe. What about bullet in CC and FIDE?

  • @Neueregel Definately not impossible. I have seen people with 1500-something FIDE ratings having 21-something CC ratings. You can be an average player with great blitz skills. Of course the opposite is also possible. FIDE and CC ratings can differ that much because blitz and standard ratings have no correlation at all. Let alone comparing official tournament conditions with online blitz chess at home.

  • @DrGenius73 Not really. Generally there is a 150-200 rating inflation for CC vs FIDE. But 572 lower is just impossible. What's your CC & FIDE?
