Do you ever get to the point? 3 videos and no shooting, anyone can read up on the ballistics. Try actually shooting one. They just shot the 45 at a 12 inch target at 50, 100 and 150 yards on the tv show handguns. Both men hit the 150 yard more than the 100 yard.

OMG who effectively engages a target at 100 yards in a combat situation with a pistol. Seriously thats cr@p that armchair commandos and maybe target shooters do. At those ranges who wants to compensate for bullet drop with a 45 in a fire exchange. Seriously go get some shooting chops before you give your opinion on an open forum. Oh and just because people watch your lame vids doesn't mean you know jack! Milli Vanilli had hundreds of thousands of records sold didn't mean they had talent!

I prefer some of the lighter 115gr hp.  In a +p load, you get 1300+fps at the muzzle. The higher velocity helps the hollow point work. Plus, with 15,16,or even 17 in the mag, you don't have to worry with spare mags.

@kluxman45 Kimbers need to be run fairly clean, for what it's worth you're better off buying a cheap 1911 and doing a little work of your own to it.
