Hey! This is Johnny Mathis' version speeded up to seem like 'The Chipmunks". The engineering is lousy and THAT'S why it sounds screechy and unpleasant!
Very deceiving not to own up to the true source of this recording. Mallign the poor 'munks will you? If you listen to Mathis you will hear his voice in this recording. it's not just the words and arrangement but the tambre and quality of his voice that, even speeded up, is still recognizable.Sorry 'bout that Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Oops!
