Before there was Facebook, MySpace and YouTube, there were only events that brought the dance community together.

Behind Body Rock- a short documentary providing a brief history behind what is considered the "Super Bowl of dance competitions". Includes archival footage of Bustagroove and Body Rock as well as interviews from community dancers who were there since the beginning in 2000. Behind Body Rock illustrates a humble reminder of why the dance community continues to exist today.

  • I live in Philly and have family in Oxnard (CI All-Male/Non-Stop)... I've been watching these videos on YouTube for almost 5 years now, and have never been to a comp out West. This video just makes me even more hungry for it.

  • sick, but most of the show nowadays is new style and not many other pure hip hop style crews compete

  • WOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAH BLINDFOLDED!! CHOREO COOKIES KILLED THAT SONG!! :D

  • We are WinchesterPictures which is known for its ambition and professionalism.

They aren't only creative dancers, they are also experienced short film producers, who manage the impossible.

Convince yourself of the talented production company!

  • @wayofthebanzai GUYS IF YOU DONT KNOW TIS IS JOE LAROTS COMMENT. Joe you and Kevin haha must be like bestfriends

  • @Anna Sarao, This documentary was incredibly inspring. It would be super dope if you made an actual DVD documentary about BustaGroove/BodyRock with more commentary. It would sell and I would mos def buy it, but more important than the money, it would be an inspiration to all the dancers past generation and new generation.

  • Classing Gary Kendall in the beginning... RIP we love you.

  • I remember competing in the first bustagroove/body rock. Kaboom squad!. I was so blown away by all the talented people and groups. This competition drove me to want to become a better dancer, show maker, and teammate. It helped me to discover myself as an artist which lead to the creation of jabbawockeez. I've made long-lasting friendships with many people because of this event. Nowadays, I look upon all the new talent and I'm still blown away. Keep the movement going. Keep rocking your body.On
