Michael Jordan is the only player in history to score back to back 50+pts in the playoffs. This is Game 2 where he accomplishes the feat with 55 pts, 6rebs, 3asts and 3 stls (Game 1 with 50pts was put up earlier and Games 3,4 and 5 will be put up in succession).

MJ picks up where he left off in Game 1 where he produced 50 pts. Shooting a "modest by MJ standards" 55% with 24-44fgs, MJ attacked from all angles and took the ball to hole with his left hand constantly. With Ron Harper vowing to seek revenge for MJ's 50 in Game 1, he said "That will never happen again". Sure enough, MJ got 55 this time.

What stood out aside from the 55 was MJ's knack for being around the most crucial plays. Again, in the clutch, MJ got the last rebound and covered the last play and hit the clutch free throws to go 7-7 from the line and go up by 3 points. The fact that all the big plays had his hand in it made it seem like he was psychic as well as being athletically absurd. The results are history.

Look out for Games 3,4 and 5 from The Master next.

  • Hoops, you have me checking my YOUTUBE account daily for new MJ videos; you're my heaven-bound in my book!

  • finally it's out! i've waited a whole 2 weeks. great job hoops... keep it up!!

  • Thanks, game 3 is already uploaded!

  • Hey Hoops is it true that MJ is the only highschool player to average a triple double?

  • I think I read that a long time ago but I would need to confirm that he's the only player ever to do that. I don't recall anyone doing it since so he probably is.

  • Mike was always a great jump shooter. His spectacular leaping ability just obscured it somewhat during his early NBA years. But make no mistake fellow basketball fans: This here is the BEST THERE EVER WAS. He possessed a physical and mental game with NO WEAKNESSES.

  • only a player

  • Thanks for this video Hoops.

    Keep up the great work!

  • MJ could get 50 pts on 29 shots. 25/29, it's crazy. And almost all of MJ's 50 pt games on youtube are over 55% FG, and most of them are over 60%.

  • This game was a preview of the 90's model Jordan. The jumper was just starting to develop into the laserlike accuracy we got used to.

  • Poor ehlo. always on a island against the greatest of all time. Like Brad Daugherty said, "we try and try, its just no way u can stop that man." Couldn't had said it better myself. Captain Marvel is the greatest.

  • Eloh will only ever be remembered as the man who was humiliated over and over again by Michael Jordan.

  • I love Mike, but damn Cleveland you had Larry Nance, Brad Daugherty, and Hot Rod Williams right there and no one could put a hard foul on him in the entire series? No wonder Mike busted their asses.
