Just testing out my new Kodak Play Sport camera. It is a hi-def 1080p underwater camera. Its waterproof to about 10 ft of water (3 meters). Pretty good picture. A little shaky looking at higher resolutions but has built in electronic stabilizer. Pretty good deal at $150. Doesn't come with SD card. I paid another $30 for an 8 GB SDHC card. 8 GB holds about 1.5 hours in 1080p but you can certainly add more time by lowering the resolution to 720p or 720 p 60 fps. You can even lower the resolution more than 720.

  • the mic is rubbish

  • @TheDaniel500 When its wet it doesn't work for crap. When its dry it works fine.

  • It records in 720 and 1080. I only had it set to 720. Audio is pretty good but not underwater and also when it comes out of the water it takes a few secondsfor the mic to clear up.

  • I got this camera for Christmas, and just today I used it in my tub just to test it. When I took it out, the microphone went all foggy/ unclear, and you couldn't hear well. I tries shaking the camera, drying it off, and blowing the speakers but it still sounds wierd. My next resort is to put it in an airtight container filled with dried rice for about and hour or do. Let's hope it works!!!!

  • @lollipopsicle24 you don't need to do that. it dries out by itself.
