@likethepear London must constantly change and adapt to remain in the present. I certainly would not want London to become a living museum like Paris. Also Paris doesnt come close to London in terms of vibrancy and wealth partly for this reason.

@likethepear i disagree, the importance of culture in London is not forgotten, and will be preserved however it shows true architectural genious to be able to incorporate a new building that not only works with the history but adds to it, London must be a city of history but it must also be a center of commerce and the future to maintain it's status as one of, if not the best city in the world

I went on the london eye a few months ago and have seen a few really tall skyscrapers being built, not sure which ones are which though

@AmjadDuhaini exactly!!! America, Australia, Canada, Asia has shit loads of skyscaper jungles.. Europe is traditional..

@nograviti lol London is the exact same as Paris.. In terms of history And id say Paris actually has more skyscrapers then london.. Europe has the oldest cities with the most beautiful old victorian buildings etc.. i dont see why you'd wanna demolish them for more skyscapers that look ugly.. Its just not Europe..especially for old cities like Berlin, Paris, London, Amsterdam etc

I love how there welcoming new and exciting buildings but I also like how there keeping it away from the historic places like big ben because if anything is build to close to big ben it will easly dwarf if and that will look silly
