Have you ever wondered what it's like to run a marathon? I was sure curious! So, I decided to experience it first hand. This video is about my first marathon running experience and the impact it had on my life. So, what you'll be hearing are my reflections about the marathon I wrote just a couple days after running it. If you're curious about running marathons or wish to experience a life-altering event, view on!

So, enjoy Part 1 of our Marathon series! Part 2 will be my experience running the Dallas White Rock Marathon in Dec 2005. And Part 3? Well, that's where we're open to suggestions! I have some ideas, but, what would you like to see? Let me know!

  • I have nothing against the woman. She is still better than all those lazy people that would never even think about doing stuff like this. My whole point is that I love competative running, I would love to see our elite runners being worshipped like the athletes of those other sports people talk about all day. In america people only respect brawn and violence. Our sport isn't about that so we get looked at as exercisers or something. Long distance running isn't only about being fit.

  • I can't watch this, the way you're talking is just... annoying.

  • Very good!

  • hello and don't heed the negativity, this is just the internet

  • What's with that 30 second intro? this is the internet. Who has time to watch that crap. Get to the point.

  • I liked it, she explains some of her experiences very well.

  • So you think she is 'better' than someone who spends their free time helping sick children instead of running?

  • I have fun coming back watch this video again and again year after year. Good comments, bad comments. All I can share is: After I watched this video for the first time. I started to train for my marathon, a few years later, I ran 5 marathons, my best time is 3:52. my worse time is 5:23 (running with injury ankle. From there, I went to to do triathlon. All I need is a little inspiration from this girl. Thanks jimmycar
