@MsAppledance i dont usually entertain people with your level of thinking (which is why i approached takaharasuiko in the first place, because i think she's the kind who can digest)... however, i do think explaining to u is essential, once and for all, for everyone who has the same level of thinking parallel as u...
mcmnila... "buat apa yg Tuhan suruh, tinggal apa yg Tuhan larang"... mm, i dont know how else to simplify this, really2 hope people like u can understand...

For what its worth, I think that what takaharasuiko is doing is a great benefit for Muslims. To show the world that there are muslims capable of being intellectual, creative and humble. In the age where people think muslims are women-beating, bearded, terrorists, I am proud to see a young woman like takaharasuiko represent.
For people like ub0710674, don't be so arrogant as a human like the rest of us, to proclaim that you know what god wants. God is almighty, he does not have any *wants*

The purpose of aurat is more than just 'God-given sin'. God wants man to see other person for who they are. It seems like you're judging me from what I wear. And that mostly defeats the purpose of aurat.
To make you feel happily satisfied, I wear, as you say, properly, whenever I go outside.
It's really hard for me to accept your one-point-view mindset.

I can change. So easily. The matter at hand now is you. Because I know your way of thinking, and I know you would judge me differently if I take my hijab off. Just like you would straightaway judge a girl starting to wear tudung as someone who's changed for the better, no more cursing like a sailor, no more talking trash.

Good Lord you still don't see the bigger picture do you. Nevermind. Trying to have a valid argument with you fruits nothing.

That 'sayang' is a metaphor. I would have called you worse names but I had to keep my anger bottled up. For manner's sake.

My head IS being used for bigger and better causes. Or at least I'm trying to. One of them involves accepting people for who they are. Let it be a long-bearded Jewish, a Tibetan monk, or a stripper. The way to do so is not by judging what they wear. That's the problem with Malaysia's Islam. Every enchanting property of Islam has been narrowed down to one : what they wear. Because it's the first thing we see when we see strangers.
