    ここで日本語に出会うとは、驚きです。

    僕は映画こそ見逃しましたが曲のもつ美しさには

    感動しました。当時はお金がなくてこの曲を聴きながらストーリーを想像したものです。50年前でした。

  • WHAT HAS COMMENTS GOT TO DO WITH THIS VID-

The company making the Fw190s developed a conversion of the Allison engine to fit into the nose of a new-build Fw190D-9. None of them have flown yet, but the engine mods were successful.

The Japanese did licence-build a DB605 engine during the war for one of their fighters. Probably very few of them around, though.

The only other Bf109 I've seen with anything other than a DB, Merlin, Hispano-Suiza or Jumo was a full-scale replica fitted with an air-cooled Ranger...

  • @DazDaMan well theres a company making fw 190s i hope they start making the bf 109 with maybe some chinesedb601plicas chinese can make anything you know haha,, do you know if somebody have tried to modify any inline v 12 to fit in the bf 109 nose=?

  • @pudransemarikas

I don't think there's anything available that would replicate the front end of a Bf109 - except a DB601/605 engine, and you'd have to pay hundreds of thousands to get one of them flying.....!

  • @DazDaMan what do you suggest??? can one modify any v 12 so it can match in the shape of the bf 109s nose?? what inline engine is still available somewhere??today??

  • @pudransemarikas

Allisons are upright V-12s, just like the Merlin, so you wouldn't get any change in the shape of the aircraft!

  • @DazDaMan well youre right about that wed have fewer , but im not talking about the ones here, im talking about the buchons those here are not as ugly but ugly enough,,, they shoud put i dont know maybe allisons there or something that matches the size of the db 601

  • @pudransemarikas

Without the Buchon, we'd have even fewer '109s in existence these days!

(And, for the record, the ones in the film are NOT Buchons. Buchons have Merlin engines, these have Hispano-Suizas.)
