I have a son and Husband with Asperger's and My daughters one has AS and one with Adhd. My friend who is an aspie tells me I "dance around the spectrum" Were a quriky bunch we homeschool and I have been covering full time for about a year.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's in the summer of 2006. I agree with you that long dresses and skirts are the most feminine clothes for women to wear (the most comfortable, too). As a Christian, I think it is also important to be modest.

Hello, Anna! I have been reading your blog for a while now, and I finally found this on Youtube. I too am a covering Christian woman with Ausberger's (I never can spell that right... :D). It is a small world.

I found this tape very interesting! How can it be that you were diagnosed with Asberger so late in life? For the most part, you get diagnosed with that while being a child/teen.My friends daugther has Asberger.Anyway it must be very hard for you to face that as an adult.

The actual diagnostic criteria was not published in the U.S. until 1994, when I was in high school. Back then, most people of my age were not considered "autistic" unless they were profoundly affected. Many adults are seeking diagnosis as the Asperger's traits become more widely known.
