  • Oh my God !!! Sutherland's French singing is even worse than her Italian ... This is terrible

  • As can happen with in-house recordings, this aria wasn't picked up optimally. In fact, neither of them are absolutely clear, and Tourangeau is a native speaker.

    It's the recording at 2:00 or thereabouts that's horrid. NOt Joan.

  • The film "Life Is Beautiful" has this song sung in the opera scene.

    Does TV's Gilligan's Island have this in the Hamlet play they put on? I know they used some Carmen in it.
