@ClarasBeau I'd like to think a show like this could be successful but I do have to wonder. Who is out there to fill the chairs of this original group? There certainly aren't many celebrities alive who have enough class or dignity to pull this off. Sad, isn't it?
Who would you cast?

Why do they not bring this show back? (The "Mystery Guest" thing, that is...) Everybody, but EVERYBODY would tune in...This is WAY too funny!! (Are you listening, NBC?... CBS?... ABC?... FOX?...It would be a major windfall for whatever network has the courage to do it.) Thanks - -

@BornYesterday0126 Absolutely nothing. And yet, "What's my Line," was so much better!

Victor Borge's humor just slays me!!!!
Why don't ladies still dress... ah, the cocktail dress and evening hats and attire!!!!

jayne and audrey meadows both have that same unique voice.

Would someone please re-upload the episode of What's My Line? where Bill Cullen (by himself) is the Mystery Guest? I have looked and looked for it. Please notify me at sbutler0727@yahoo.com when you have done so. Thanks a bunch.

Jayne is 90+ now, still has that great head of hair too.

@offstride And remember...both shows were broacast LIVE!

Blending these 2 shows and here is what you've got; What's My Line 18 seasons 5 times top 25 Nielsens and 3 Emmys. I've Got A Secret 15 seasons 9 times top 25. All were in prime time. They knew what they were doing.
This is one of the few times that Bill Cullen was shown walking on-camera; the reason for this is because he had a slight limp as a result of a bout with polio in childhood.
That's a sad reminder of a different era, but here's a happier one: Don't you love those hats on Faye Emerson and Jayne Meadows?
Jayne is the only one of this clip still alive at this writing (18 Oct 2009), having recently celebrated her 89th birthday. What a beautiful treasure she is to the golden age of television!
