From the 1971 album STREET CORNER TALKIN'. This was their 7th album.

I should get a medal for figuring out the line-up for this album because Kim Simmonds changed band members like most people change their underwear!

Kim Simmonds - Guitars
Dave Walker - Vocals
Dave Bidwell - Drums
Andy Silvester - Bass
Paul Raymond - Keys, Vocals

  • MP3 sucks! listen to that whine..Youtube is becoming the preferred archive and it must be upgraded to a lossless format or all this great music etc.... will be lost. MP3 SUCKS!!!!

  • You sound like the one that's whining to me! That's the trouble this society is having today. Everybody wants something for free. If you don't like MP3 then buy yourself something that is better and archive your stuff in lossless form. You sound like that useless occupy this and that bunch. What's next occupy you-tube?!

  • You definitely got the personal for this song correct but picture above depicts different personnel. In the picture above is (Left to Right) Chris Youlden (vocals), Roger Earl (drummer), Kim Simmons (guitar vocals), Lonesome Dave Pevrett (guitar), Tony Stevens (bass). Roger, Dave and Tony obviously went on to form Foghat with Black Cats Bones guitarist Rod Price.

  • The pics are from different line-ups and different times in the bands career.

  • @rickyon.... That's what I get for clicking on the video and then listening (but not watching) while doing some other things on my computer. Just watched again, good pic's of the band over the years. Great tune thanks for uploading!!

  • Actually that is the main intent of all the slideshow vids I post. The music is what it's all about, the pics are just a bonus. Something to look at while listening to this incredible music!

  • This song is one of my favorite song ever!..i love it so much!

  • @john9594 While I knew this, I would bet that most of my fb friends would not recognize the name Savoy Brown. Foghat, probably, but not Savoy Brown. Odd that they don't get airplay on classic rock stations. At least, not where I live.

  • good old rockin blues
