Thomas Raddall Park, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Some footage of summer 2011 trip to one of Nova Scotia's provincial parks. Camping is great with huge campsites featuring all the basics such as showers, power, food vending machines, ice, firewood, etc. Swimming was quite poor due to the abundance of rocks and seaweed, although I have heard the seaweed is not normally present. The hiking trails were about as exciting as a walk though any forest with the exception of two or three that were all connected running along the ocean's beach. These trails are well worth seeing for the wildlife (birds mostly) and rugged natural beauty. It was windy on this day but it was warm. A hurricane had just recently hit thus the wind and seaweed.

"Park Info: Overlooking Port Joli Harbour on Nova Scotia's South Shore, Thomas Radddall Provincial Park is a nature lovers' haven. The park is just across the harbour from Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct National Park, and there are four migratory seabird sanctuaries nearby.
With over 650 ha (1,600 acres) the park offers visitors a wide range of outdoor experiences, including hiking, camping, picnicing, sight seeing, or relaxing on the beach.
Facilities and Services
The park is open from May 20 - Oct. 10 for the 2011 Season and offers a large campground with a total of 82 sites (13 walk-in), picnic areas, and three unsupervised beaches. It also features both walk-in and drive-up camping sites, beautiful white sand beaches, and walking and cycling trails."
If you have already been to kejimkujik national park I would try this one, but I still prefer Keji http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/ns/kejimkujik/index.aspx
For swimming the best beach in Nova Scotia to swim is Crescent Beach, imo. http://lunenburgregion.ca/index.php/entries/thing-to-do/crescent-beach/
There is nothing but soft white sand, akin in to what you would find at Cuba or Bahamas, and it is warm. The water may be quite cold or warm depending on the weather. Try to get to the beach within a week after a hurricane or storm and the waters are super warm, fyi.
thats a nice spot
