I have now been to see Diana and she put on a first rate show,doing a solo 80 minute set. She sang songs from both her albums plus a few I didn't know. Unfortunately she didn't sing this song,but I showed her the lyric I had written out and she signed it for me. She hopes to put the other YouTube 'new' song ' Now That My Love Has Gone From Me ' on her 3rd album so I hope she includes this one as well. Please if you are a fan of roots music go and see her,she is a delight to watch and listen to

Having now heard this lovely song several times I have tried to write down the lyrics but have come unstuck on the 3rd line of the chorus and the 2nd line of the last verse. When I see her soon I may take what lyrics I have with me and see if she would be willing to sing it for us and also fill in the gaps in my lyric sheet! If anyone knows the full lyrics or knows where I can locate them I would appreciate help with it. She may have recorded this song on her two earlier 90s albums of course.

As far as I know she hasn't recorded this song,or at least not on her two recent albums,which is a shame as I like this song very much as well. I am seeing her on 5 March here in Bristol (UK) so |I will ask her then about this song and maybe add another comment afterwards if she gives me a positive reply. I will of course suggest she includes it on her next album as it is too good a song to go unrecorded even if she sings it live at gigs.
