you are so damn ignorant to the fact that poems like this are supposed to be read with feeling and attitudes to point out the seriousness and feelings that are to be potrayed in it. She is not being ghetto or showing attitude or using an ignorant accent. To be her age and able to recite something so beautiful is in its self beautiful.

the poem was stupid. if shes so proud to be black why is her hair permed and weaved? why doesnt her mom have her hair natural? all the black women clapping had weaves and perms too. you're so proud to be black but you think straight hair is prettier and neater? and why is she talking with an ignorant accent? that's just feeding the sterotype that blacks talk like they don't have an education >.>

I LOVE it when idiots (like the ones below) call us NIGGERS and hate us because hate makes us great. It shows they want what we have which cannot be BOUGHT with all the money on Earth and below it. They secretly fantasize in the mirror to look like us, walk, talk and so on. But you know what? I'm personally not moved by WORDS. I actually laugh because it shows how dumb your parents were to either teach you that nonsense, OR not paying attention so you could learn it elsewhere. Keep it up.
