I dont care that Canada won the gold...that was their moment. But nothing comes close to the Americans beating the USSR. That was the greatest moment in sports history...It was an impossible game to win. I mean the soviets crushed the NHL all stars. And a bunch of college kids who had NEVER played with each other before beat them? Just think about it...it really was miraculous. And it represents what our great nation is all about.

@gmenfan48 Actually Canada could not use NHL players until 1995, but yea its true this is the greatest sports moment of any sport. Of course as a canadian i gotta root for team Canada no matter what but this moment was and is still great and proud to be usa's neighbour.
